Well I just ordered this hoe http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7515573321&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

And am curious about the best way to setup hydraulics for it. In the add it says just to hook up to the tractor hydraulics, but others advise against it. The hoe is not too big and my tractor is a 32hp I beleive. So I was kind of hoping to get away with connecting to the tractor hydraulics.

My tractor has two hydraulic levers one is for raising and lowering the 3point and the other is empty ready for anything. The easiest way would be to hook up here and start digging.

The other option is to tee off of the loader pump but I do not know what is involved with that.

Finally the third option is just to pull out the wallet and drop $500 on a pto pump and resivoir.

Please advise at what you feel the best route for me is?

You need to hook up the hoe to run off of the front pump. These tractors have a high output pump that runs off of the front of the crankshaft. A shaft connects to the front of the engine at the lower crank pulley and then goes through the front axle pivot to the pump.

sounds good, Can I just go off of the loader valve or do I need to T in and install some sort of selector valve. Here is some pics of the loader valve. The two lever one is the open one that runs off of the internal hydraulics.

You may have to install a restrictor with a bypass, because with the small cylinders of that BH and the high flow of the pump, you may be going to fast to use it very well. I may be wrong, but I think that the pump is something like 19 gallons a minutes. I would guess that would be about twice what you need.
I believe that you would be alright using the valve under the seat.
Like I said before, to be sure get with Big Dean.

I don't think that your tractor will fit on the trailer /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

the tires go a little flat but it works /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Actually it makes me a little nervous on my 18 ft 8000lb trailer you have to put it on backwards and its still not far enough back due to the scraper. and the bucket hangs down on the dovetail portion.

Ok my loader valve has a powerbeyond option I just need to learn how to hook up to that? It talks about a powerbeyond attachment, whats that?

Big Dean suggests running off the front pump.

Out of power beyond, to "in or P" on hoe and return from hoe "out or T" to where ever your tank is on tractor. (Maybe transmission).
Some valves can't take the back pressure of down stream equipment. PB isolates rest of the loader valve from the backpressure.

Ok, when I disconnect the hoe, do I need to loop the oil or is it okay to just dead end the two hoses?

Loop. Plugging hoses will deadhead open center pump and create high pressure , likewise you can't tee off it either as you won't make pressure. Good lucck.
