I purchased a used tractor and it had a Great Bend 260 loader with it. The tractor is a LK3054 Kioti and it has a 7.5gpm hydraulic pump. I had a Kubota L3010 with a LA482 loader prior to this one. My question is speed of operation. The GB260 is a lot slower than the one I had on the Kubota. The bucket dump is especially slow. I was wondering if this could be adjusted somehow or is this normal for this brand of loader. I ran all these operations with the rpm at PTO speed. It is snail slow at idle.

If I'm not mistaken the GB260 loader requires something like 10GPM to operate at normal speed. At one time they made the FELs for Mahindra. My 6000 Mahindra uses the Mdl 264 FEL. My hydraulic system puts out 11.0 GPM. That's the only explanation I can come up with. Good luck.. BobG in VA

Theres little you can do if the loader is requireing large amounts of fluid but just by the mechanics of it, it should not. My guess is that the control valve has a lower GPM, the hoses may have lower flow. I don't remember what my L3380 with a LA 723 pumps out, its not huge, but the loader is very fast. I pretty much use it at about 1800 to 2000 RPM and even at that must feather it.
