Howdy! I am not yet well versed on the subject of tractors, but from my research, I can see these attachments / implements used alot that require additional hydraulics. 4 in 1 front bucket (clamshells around things), snow blower, tilt and angle front blade, front rotary broom attachment, all these front end stuff uses an in and out line... so a PAIR of extra lines on front, often called a 3rd SCV Selective Control Valve. Each SCV has a pair of lines. an in and an out. For the back, I see a backhoe usually uses larger lines then other things....but it does nead an additional pair of lines, often called (power beyond), these are constant flow, since the valves are actuated from the operator sitting in the backhoe seat. Other rear end hydraulics would be a hydraulic thumb on the BH, it too would require another line, but this would come from the valve body on the BH attachment only, and not nead additional lines from the tractor itself. There is also a hyudraulic auger drill that fits on backhoes, nice for digging deeper then a standard PTO driven post hole digger. There is also concrete breakers, hydraulic driven. OK! now for stuff other then back hoe.... There is a Top and Tilt feature, which adds hydraulic cylinders to your top link, and lift arms, allowing any rear implement to be angled independantly of the tractor. This would be a 4th SCV for instance. Also, there is hydraulic controlled rippers on some nicer box scrapers that lower at the press of a switch. This being a 5th SCV if you wanted it controlled independantly of a top and tilt feature. The list can go on and on!!! But if you want the widest range of possibilities, you COULD get 5 Selective Control Valves, and then a Power Beyond kit, for the BH hydraulics. This is WAY more hydraulics then most folks have, but I like to have the abilities to use everything, even If I don't nead to. hope it helps a bit! Brian Sparkeee24
