I purchased a small dirt scoop that will not tilt low enough to scrape-up dirt when the scoop is turned facing the tractor. It works fine when turned backward, if I have a dirt pile to back it into.

The toplink I use on all my implements is about 22 inches long when screwed all the way in. Since it is too long, I wondered if there were shorter category 1 or 0 toplinks that I could purchase.

I could build a riser or extension above the toplink attachment holes on the scoop. It would probably need to be at least six inches above the present attachment holes and tilted backward to create enough space. However, I thought that it would likely break. I have a 25 horse power Mitsubishi, two-wheel drive.

Any advice?

Tractor Supply has two lengths hangin' next to each other so you don't have to read the sticker. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Toplinks are generally referred to by the BARREL length, rather than overall length. Cat 1 typical is 16". We also carry 8" and 12" because of issues such as you have encountered. Should be able to find them many places, although usually they cost more than the standard 16".
