Landpride posthole auger HD 25

Here is a picture of the Loader mount. It is the bracket on the right loader arm just behind the bucket. I use the top-n-tilt remote hydraulic valves to control the auger on the bucket. When mounted on the backhoe, I use the bucket curl circuit to control the auger speed and direction.

Hope this helps.

Mcmillen was bought out by ATI in Iowa a year ago (the bradco people) if you want to see a good selection of post hole augers, both hydraulic and PTO and post pounders try www.easternfarmmachinery.com they sell shaver, mcmillen and danuser. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the responses, guys, your input has been invaluable! We just came back from the dealer where we finally signed papers. ( gee, ive got this sickly feeling in my belly, thats a lot of money!) While we were there, i asked about mcmillen augers and he whips out a bradco catalog.(right on the money, franklin...)He quoted a price of $1700for the x450 w/12" auger, brackets and hoses(also right on the money, roger!) Now ive got to decide on the mcmillen, or the landpride. landpride is at $1500. Mcmillen sounds like a good unit, but I Know nothing about landprides auger. Decisions, decisions! Once again, i sure do appreciate all of the effort you guys have put in to helping me out. When this unit and attatchments is delivered, I will register here proper and send some pics....Im listening.....

Mark, for an extra 200 bucks it would be a no brainer for me. Go with the Mcmillen. Just my opinion.
