IMHO, overall quality of aftermarket loaders are very good and I feel as good as manufactures FEL's. Often the mounting of manufacture loaders are slightly better in design and ease of use or appearance. This is probably because aftermarket vendors make one loader to fit different makes and models of tractors. Also sometimes aftermarket loader may interfere with other implements such as belly mowers, backhoe mounts etc. and may not be compatible due to different mounts. On the flip side, aftermarket loaders may offer other options, not available by the manufacture. For example, Wood's FEL may have bobcat-type quick attach and offer an accessory spool on the loader valve to run equipment such as a hydraulic PHD auger or other FEL attachments requiring hydraulics. It sort of depends what your use and potential future use maybe. JD quick-attach sort of limits you to JD attachments. I added a Kasco quick-attach to my Kubota 3710 FEL and now use a bobcat PHD and forklifts on my tractor. Also allows me to rent other bobcat attachments as needed. As far as resale, original manufacture FEL's may have slightly better value. Before buying an aftermarket see how it mounts and removes and compare it to the manufactures FEL. Dont know if all of my comments helped or not. Just ideas to consider. I recently talked someone into a Woods loader for his Kub 4610 with cab and he loves it. In the past I have had JD, Kubota, Koyker, and Great Bend loaders and all have performed well.
