I wanted to thank those who helped me through my RFM dilemma from last week. I did, in fact, get my new RFM today. I purchased a Frontier 1072E. I only used it about 20 minutes so far, but initial impressions are good. This is the first RD RFM I have had as my last was side discharge. The clipping dispersion seems quite good so far. Also, the tractor seems to handle this mower even easier than the 60" it replaced. I think some of this could be due to the fact it does not have to power a deck dispersing clippings to one side. I have two questions: first, I have a 3720, which is rated at 35.5 PTO HP. The gearbox on my new mower is a "30HP" gearbox. Any worries? Second, I know Woods makes some Frontier mowers, but this one has a BCE prefix on it, not the "WD" seen with Woods products. Who makes this mower? The drive shaft seems to be made in Italy, but I do not know where the actual mower was made. Thanks for the information.
