60\" Rotary Cutter
I'm looking at a Rankin 60" rotary cutter with a slip clutch. The guy is asking $700 for it. It looks in decent shape. Is that a reasonable price. I really have not found any information on the web that would give me a clue about it true value. Any thoughts?

Re: 60\" Rotary Cutter
Try HERE
But " decent shape isn't much of a mechanical description. Which series? Which model? How does it sound? Any undue vibration? Are the cutter edges chipped/worn? What does the transmission gear oil look like? Is the rear tire worn? Is the PTO shaft true? Is the clutch rusty?
Then ask yourself; If the thing's in such decent shape, why's the guy selling it?
