De-Thatcher clenup?
If I use a de-thathcer behind my tracktor what would be the best way to cleanup the thatch? I was thinking of using either a bagger or a lawn sweeper. I would think between the two, the bagger would work better. Does anyone have any experiance with this? I really do not want to have to rake.

Re: De-Thatcher clenup?
When I was in the lawn business I used a rake and a big sheet. Rake into windrows, and then lay the sheet flat -- rake onto the sheet, grab the 4 corners and walk it over to the trailer like Santa Claus to dump it.
After I was complete, I used my mower (with bagger) to finish the job.

Re: De-Thatcher clenup?
I used my mower bagger. I was amazed at how much grass the dethatcher removed, while still keeping the grass looking full. I hadn't dethatched since I bought the place 5 years ago, so a lot had built up. In the past when I mowed, I usually filled up the bagger twice if the grass got long. When I mowed up the thatch, the bagger filled up 18 times! However, with the grass thinned out now, it only fills up once when I mow.

I de-thatch and mulch at the same time
