Looking for front and rear bale spears for round bales. Found them at TSC. They have one that clamps on front bucket, and a couple of other models for 3pt. Capacity rated at 2000lbs. Anyone used these, have other advice? Will I have to remove tooth bar to put front bale spear on?

Single spears are OK, but I use double spears instead, configured as pallet forks. They are far more useful than a single spear.

Yes.. for it to properly seat on the bucket edge.

I bought the bucket spear from TSC.. works good.. I've used it on full size bales. Use a bale forks on the 3pt.

I thought about asking the weldor who works on my equipment if something can be fabricated so the spear will work with the toothbar on.. I need to call him anyway.. I bent my potatoe plow into a nice "V" shape.
