Pay attention... /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Look at the logging trailers and loaders, the P78 crane, and the disc harrows.

Look around for the videos of the trailers & loaders.
Cool videos of a Valtra tractor setup for forestry work - slogging around in some mud fully loaded. This will make you believe in Valtra! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Cool!

Oh, the discs...once you see these, you'll never complain about adjusting the angle on only four gangs!

European equipment is so..."foreign" /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Enjoy. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

If you get a chance, take a look at the "Valtra Unique Features" page.

They are available with skid plates and forestry cabs, eight colors, and a cool "TwinTrac" control setup.
Forestry cab has many lights around the roof of the cab and are protected from damage.

These are really cool tractors, but I doubt they are available here.

More neat photos,
Click Valtra Global
then click United Kingdom
then look in the "News" column.
Click on "Amphibious C Series takes to the water "

This is cool!

Actually, Valtra has a very small dealer network in the USA. There's one about an hour from me. Fendt too.

ScottAR,
That's neat. I figured those were European only tractors.

Here is the actual link to the Amphibious Valtras.

I wonder if, on the bottom photo, the tractor was able to get out of the peat bog (soup) after the picture was taken. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

What do you think?

Valtra is pretty popular in eastern Canada. Lot of forestry people use them.

I'm sure he put his propeler down and just scooted right out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. I wish that was on video.

My local dealer has a Valtra A95 & others on the lot. Small & muscular has a go cart type small steering wheel. No room in the cab for a passenger seat though. $40K before adding a loader.

slowzuki,
Did you see the Kronos videos?

Those tractors can be outfitted from the factory with skid plates, limb risers, cab protection, and HD grill guards etc. to ward off the junk in the forest. Seems almost industrial-like garb for the tactor.

The Kronos trailer also had four wheel drive to aid the tractor.

Cool stuff, but, you know it is expensive. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Some of those have a setup with two steering wheels and pedals for bidirectional use.
