For 3 years have used 4' KK with hitch bar attached to 1914. Then when backing up while bushogging, the blades suddenly started hitting the hitch bar. The vertical bars that form an upside down "Y" are bent forward. Decided to take everything topside apart and reverse the bars. That didn't work as the angle braces that extend from the rear wheel mounting point to the vertical bars now extend way past the bolt holes and the short angle braces prevent the verticals from moving far enough forward. It's a mystery how the long angle bars still reach the verticals. No indication that the deck itself bent.
2 questions: Should I replace the vertical bars? Is it cost effective to replace the blades? Appears I would need 1" drive rachet and 1.5" socket to remove blades...probably a dealer job. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Using "as is" is an option except now have bad vibration possibly caused by blade imbalance from having hit the hitch bar.
