I have a King Kutter finishing mower. Like it fine. I saw a Woods looked like a heavy duty today for sale. Mine is six foot wide side discarge the woods is seven foot wide with rear discharge. The wheels on the woods are much heavyer and the mower is just stronger looking. Anyone ever use a woods like this. HOw much do they cost new? I am strongly entertaining the idea of trading.....thanks teddy

I have used KK bushhogs and a Woods bushhog. The Woods by far is much nicer and does a nicer job. However, the price of the Woods from what I have seen can be twice as much as the KK.

So depending on pricing in your area you could buy two of the KK's

murph exactly, this is much heavier. tires are aobut 4 inches wide and maybe a foot tall. I didn't see one on the woods site. If you all have seen one tell me aobut it please. You know how these things take a liking to you........ted

Ted, About a year ago the Wife and I stopped at a yard sale, The Gentleman was selling a restored Ford 8N which had a 6' woods RFM and I started to drool... I should tell you that I have a 6' kk already ,But I sure was trying to get him to sell me that woods mower separate from the 8N, but he wouldn't budge it was a "package deal" /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

It is a very heavy duty unit, compared to the KK ...
