Has anyone used or know of small carry load AKA drag scraper made that will work on a CUT (a 5203 JD in my case). I would think that three to four yard capacity would be the max. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

I think it takes about a 35 to 40 horse tractor to load an open bowl type pan in a 2 yard range. About 50 to 60 in a 4 yards open bowl pan. Hancock used to make an elevator scraper that had a fully functioning pto elevator that was a 4 yard capacity on 2 wheels. It took 35 to 40 minimum HP to pull it. Hoelscher makes an expensive 1.5 yard pan that runs off the lift and one 2 way remote and Durabuilt offers a 2 yard pan for a 35 hp tractor for around 2800.

Thanks for the reply. Try as I may I can't find Durabuilt scrapers using Google.

My Dad left me a bunch of rag tag old equipment. Among it all is an old fresno. I haven't dug it out of the weeds and dirt to see what kind of shape it is in. I remember him cleaning out the stock tank with it. Hours on hours.

unreconstructed,
You've got to misspell it to get anywhere, I didn't find anything but ag equipment distributors:

I can verify that's a real town. 'Bout an hour from here. I've been meaning to take a road trip over there to play tourist as Pochantas is sort of the center for haying/cattle operations in the area. Lots of haying equipment dealers and utility size tractors.

They make a one bale hauling trailer called a tumble bug that's very popular around these parts. Self loading and unloading.

fresno.

Takes a good man to hang onto the handle but you may be surprised how much you can move if the are three people.
