    Default JD iMatch compatability

What other brands of attachments are compatable with the JD iMatch 3pt hitch system? Can any iMatch owners supply me with the pin width and lower pin to top link pin measurements? I'm about to order a JD 2520, but I'm not sure if I want/need the iMatch. Thanks.

There's a thread in the JD Owning/Operating forum (dated 9/14) that has all the info you need.

I have a JD3720 with an Imatch. I've had trouble connecting several implements with it. On some, the top link hook on the imatch is too low. On my bush hog, the floating top link wont stay on the imatch hook. For those implements that it fits, it is great, just back up, lift and move the levers down. If I were to do it again, I think I would go with the Worksaver Quck Hitch QH101 which has an adjustable top link hook and brackets for floating top links.

You will like the iMatch, IMO.

There were and are a lot of attachments that don't 'mate' with the ASAE standard, but more and more are doing so. I just alter the ones that don't (which has only been 2 out of 6 that I needed to do anything) and I'm good to go.

    The standard specs are attached:

There's a lot of threads on this, and I've read a lot of them. I ended up with a Rankin brand Quick Hitch for my JD 3320. It appears to be the same as the Worksaver from the link above. I'm sure these are all made by Speeco and rebranded for various parts of the country. My JD dealer doesn't carry the iMatch and instead carries the one I purchased as it is more flexible in terms of what can be hooked up to it. There will be implements that do not fit onto any quick hitch and if I were to do it again I would look closely at Pat's easy change. To some degree it depends on what you want out of a quick hitch- if your goal is to back up and drive away with a new implement without getting off the tractor, Pat's is probably not for you. If you want to be able to hook up all your implements, with ease, but still may need to get off the tractor (which I usually do with my quick hitch anyway) then Pat's may be the way to go.
