Here it is! My homemade loader dolly. Took about 3 hrs to weld the scrap alum. plate and mount the six $3.25 each casters. The casters work great and allow me to move this around the shop with very little effort. The weight of the dolly is about fourty pounds so it can easily be stored when the FEL is on the tractor.

Hey Tim, you're taking all the fun out of moving your loader around. Kind of like football practice, get down in your 3-point (stance, not hitch), fire out and hit that loader just like a blocking sled. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif (Actually that's sort of what I do now and your way looks a LOT better). Good job with the fabrication, and it looks like you've got a good smooth floor to roll that baby around on. Nice work.

It looks great.
Before I build one, can you tell me if the FEL reacts differently when taking it of the tractor as it can now move on the dolly.
I am sure reinstalling it must be a lot easier.

Woodstock,

The dolly does move around a little, but I have found it easier to install the loader with it. By moving, it keeps the bottom of bucket from scraping on the floor and covering it with orange paint. Here is a front view pic. The up tabs help in keeping the loader positioned on the dolly.

One word of warning...Do not build it higher than the "stroke tilt" (lack of a better word) of your bucket. You might get the loader off, but it will not go back on.
