)</font>Totally disagree! I can do wonders with a box blade. I grade and level all the time with mine. I do not end up with high spots or dips when I am finished. I grade my gravel lane with mine and when I'm finished there are no ridges, dips or bumps. When you have it full of material and have it adjusted properly, the box should empty itself out depositing the material in the low spots. My customers are sometimes amazed how smooth their rock lawns and drives are after I'm finished. A hydraulic top link is a must for proper technique. I realize not everyone can afford one but don't expect excellent results without one.
