Does anyone know a good source for either new or used pallet forks?

Due to the girls, "Katrina and Rita", pallet forks are hard to come by, both new and used.
I was trying to purchase recently, but most manufacturers, like Markham, told me that theirs have all been sold and or pre-sold thru a certain date...some as late as Jan. 1 2006! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
Even used are disappearing...so I recently rented for $25/day and will wait until after the big clean up down south and purchase a set once there is a glut on the used market! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Do you have the Quick-attach for your FEL? If so, you might ask some of the rental places to keep you in mind when they "cycle" their skid-steer inventory. Sometimes you can pick up some barely used stuff this way. When I bought my CAT/Chanllenger, I wanted the skid-steer type, so my dealer called around to the other CAT dealers until he found some brand-new rental stock, and got it for me! They are GREAT! Because they were for the rental fleet, they are heavy-duty.
...just an idea.

Pallet forks can be found on Ebay but I have noticed pricing go up over 10% in the past month!
Good Luck,
Steve
