Just arrived, my new 7-1/2' Nardi 220 backhoe. It is a very nice one, finished really well and sturdy. Came with an 18" bucket with removable teeth. I got a chance to try it out and it performed very well with the tractor running only about 1200 rpm. It had enough power to lift up the rear end easily.

With that in mind, I'm going to build a subframe for it as soon as I get a chance. Does anyone know if subframes are available for this model connecting to a KAMA 554? If so, I would surely be interested.

I will attach some pictures.

Another picture digging a drainage ditch on my property. Notice the quality of the cut it can make. Soil is medium in this area.

Look at the amount of dirt she can pull out in one scoop. This was really neat for me because I usually dig with only a shovel...what a difference!

It's got plenty of reach to dump the dirt neatly away from the trench. It took less than 5 minutes to dig a trench about 1-1/2 foot deep, almost 15 foot long, with only one re-position. Sure am happy now!

Yes, the ground in THIS area is not too bad, but there is a lot of dg most other places where it's a lot harder. I found that kicking up the rpm added some umphhh to the hoe's power but still was harder to dig.
I was hoping my good buddy dkrug would be making and selling the subframes for my tractor by now<BG> /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif so I could buy one from him.

yeah that does look like easy digging and a nice rig. I know nothing about add on BH's but it seems you could have gone bigger with that size tractor. Maybe the add ons have size limits because of the way it attaches to the tractor.

Man you guys can find all the needs for a BH. Around here we just rent one if we need. A full size deere goes for about $250 delivered for 8 hours on the clock. Add a couple days and the price drops a lot. I guess if I had one I could think up a lot of things to do with it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
