Kubota MMM question, please help.

I have a B7610 with a 60MMM. It seems there is no mulch kit for this. Is this true? If so, I wonder why. I was hoping to completley no longer have any use for my JD garden tractor which has now been promised to my brother.

Update...Keller Brothers Kubota in CA said there was no mulch kit available. Reading Kubota in PA said there is and they are getting a price for me. This year I am done with grass and will use my JD for leaves while I still have it. next year I'll have Kubotas mulch kit hopefully.

Another update. My local Kubota dealer said there is a mulch kit but when I asked for a price and they looked through the catalog, they said they couldn't find a mulch kit.

The Reading Kubota people tallied up nearly 400 dollars in mulch kit parts and seemed to imply the mulch kit was for another deck...a deck with the same "stamp". I am guessing the bx 60 inch deck.

Back to the local dealer...the guy said another option is to buy the gators. He uses them and is very happy. At 15 dollars each, I think this will be my first shot.

Last update on this. I put the gators on last night and tested them. They work very well. Not quite as well as a mulch kit. On the other hand, $400 on a mulch kit vs. $50 on the gators leaves a $350 difference. The mulch kit wouldn't be $350 better.

Also, there is no mulch kit for the RCK60-24B Kubota deck. The dealer in Reading was claiming that the deck is the same as the 60" deck for the BX. Now the BX deck has different mounts, wheels, etc., but the deck itslef is supposedly the same which will accomodate the mulch kit.

I hope this can help someone else out.

which gator blades did you end up using? I didn't think they made a direct replacement for the original kubota blades?

Hi.

I am not sure. I'll check the receipt later. They are a direct replacement for the RCK60-24B deck. No mods required.
