I'm sure there are lots of opinions on this, so let's hear them.

For what I want to do, I figure I need a FEL, box blade, and shredder. After that, what are the most useful PTO attachments out there? Anybody want to rank them by order of importance or usefulness?

This is the key. What exactly is it you want to do? Ranking attachments depends entirely on what the task is at hand.

A PTO genny comes in handy quite often, our 13kW generator will power the Miller 210MIG @ 230V and 50 amps, as well as light up the house and stables and power the water pump.

Which PTO Gen do you have? Any suggestions, as I am looking into it?

I've got what you listed plus a post hole digger and a set of homemade forks to fit on the FEL. The post hole digger comes in handy for planting trees in addition to setting posts. The forks are handy for lots of things. Some others I am considering are a tiller, disc, rear blade, and a landscape rake. Don't really need them (yet), but that doesn't stop the wants. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
(for those who may not know, in TX a rotary cutter is often called a shredder)

I've got the one from Northern Toool - Item# 165929, go to their site and type that into the search function or look for it under "generator".

Works great for us! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Me, too.
I have one, too.
The 13 kW PTO generator from Northern Tool Supply, that is.
It came in real handy after Hurricane Katrina when we were out of power for two and a half weeks.
Now, moving hurricane debris, my other attachment is a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum loaded with bird shot for the rats and cottonmouth snakes hiding in the piles.

Skypup,
What does a generator like that run? I am looking for one and deciding to buy a standalone or one for my new pto?

I'd never get rid of my tiller......Great for gardens, softening ground for moving dirt(before blading), killing grass /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif, plus some other uses I'm not aware of yet I'm sure....Like the other guys mentioned, what do you want to do? There are many things to hook to the tractor to make life easier and more fun at the same time.

Next on my list is a spreader and post hole digger....
