I am planning on borrowing a friends 3 Point Hitch PHD this weekend to dig some holes for deck post sonotubes.
I have a few 'worries'
1- I don't know how well it will work on shale, if I'm lucky it will be so tough it will be considered ledge then I can move on to the next hole.
2- I have never used a 3 Point Hitch PHD, although I have been reading a lot in here for advice
3- I'll be alone
4- It will be 20 degrees and windy
Probably the shale bit is what worries me the most, if it doesn't work I won't have to worry about the Wx as I will be keeping plenty warm with my shovel in hand.
Any advice?
