Rookie tiller question
I have purchased a used WAC FLB1400 3pt 56" tiller for $200.00. No manuals, drive shaft or parts list. How do I tell if it has a slip clutch or a shear pin? Are these located on the drive shaft before the gear box or in the chain drive mechanism?

Re: Rookie tiller question
Yes.
A shear pin is nothing more than a bolt through the PTO shaft and it attaches the PTO universal (lack of better term) to the gearbox input shaft.
A slip clutch kinda looks like two bathroom plungers put together with some clutches. The PTO shaft goes in one end and the other attaches to the gearbox input shaft.
About as close as I can get without the technical terms.
Hope this helps.
