I am considering buying a tiller for food plots. The soil is rocky, but I will till only top several inches to avoid jamming the tiller. The walk behind kubota tiller I use for home garden can be used with tines running forward or reverse. Reverse does a better job of breaking up ground. This machine unfortunately is not big enough for 2 acre food plots. Can tillers run off PTO be run in reverse rotation? For that matter, can PTO rotation be reversed?

I am not aware of PTO's that can be reversed. There may be gear box that can be added to reverse direction. On my tiller the PTO shaft is only 26" long. Not much room to put an additional gear box.
