how long should it take to take a backhoe off and 2 put it back on?

Depends on the brand and style. Anywhere from 1 minute without getting off the tractor seat, to a half hour fighting with tapered pins and a full subframe. It's really not an answerable question without knowing the model you're asking about, or at least some idea of the size of the tractor/backhoe.

i don't have a brand, but what type could u take off from sitting on your seat?

i guess i am looking for something that would have a good breakout force. the tractor should be around 25 to 30 hp. how long would that take?

I don't know of any hoes that come off completely without leaving your seat. There are generally pins to pull and hoses to disconnect. I'm curious to see if anyone knows of one that's that easy to get on and off.

I have a subframe mount backhoe (Long 4008 on a Long 360) and with practice, it now takes me about 5 to 10 minutes to attach, much less to detach. The trick, just like attaching any heavy implement, is backing the tractor up as straight as possible to it.

New Holland TC-35D and a New holland 757- C backhoe with subframe. About 15 minues on, and 5 minutes to take it off. Like anything the more you do it the better you get. The first time I put mine on it took almost 45 mintes.

I don't have a picture of mine. If you go to the NH forums and look for member "Pineridge" he has almost the same set up as I do. When you find "Pineridge" click on "TC-40 SS". He has a great site will allot of good NH class III boomer tractor info.

On edit: go here for an idea of what the BH looks like: http://www.pineridge7.com/MJE/tc-40d_757c_backhoe_dolly.htm
