Open mouth, insert foot.

I just called one more Rhino dealer in Kentucky that I didn't call this morning.

Y.A. Yount Haying Equipment, Pleasureville, Ky. (502) 845 2243.

He's got SE 6 mowers, with slip clutch, for $1300!

I may just go that route.

As soon as I get the foot outta my mouth. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have a SE6 and I am very happy with it, I have used the 286 on the ranch I used to run and it has been put thru **** and is still going. I hope the SE6 last as long as that one but it does not see anywhere near the punishment that the 286 has seen.

I got my squealer used and it has done what I needed it to do and stuff it shouldnt have done. Referance the broken shear bolts /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.

The chain that connects the top of the 3pt to the rear of the brush hog has got to be one of the most sensible and simple things I have ever seen on a hog. The back is very mobile and when you go across a gully you wont break the thing.

Farmwithjunk,
I own the 5ft model 60" , bought it used for $600 over two years ago. I use it behind my Massey 32hp diesel and have had very good luck with it. I use it mostly to keep a little over 8 acres of open meadow. Occasionally I will infringe on the hedgerows and take out a few small saplings. Occasionally I will touch up the blades with my right angle grinder. It has been a good unit to me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif SQ60

I also on occasion will do some mowing for my neighbor in a wet spot on his property were he doesnt dare go with his baling equipment.
