Going with the Markham tooth bar from Antietam, along with the purchase of the NH TC48DA was the best deal for me. By the time I added up the cost and time involved to purchase the items, pay for shipping, or pick up. Markham already has the beveled cutting edge that matched up perfectly with my bucket. I basically calculated that I payed for several hours of professional welding, with a high quality wire spooled, inert gas welder, and a highly skilled welder, who's been welding Markham tooth bars, and knows every in and out of tooth shank attachment welds. I have built my own in the past with stick welding, but the Markham bar was too sweet to pass up on. It almost falls off when you want to remove it. Warning, these Markham toothbars in 72" length are heavy. The bar stock which the 2.25" wide teeth shanks are welded to is 3/4" x 4". Very stout and designed for heavy use. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
