When I only had one attachment I always had the one I need to use attached. Now that I have more than one I never have the correct one attached.

Yes. That always seemed to be the case with our 3pt hitch tractor. That is why I purchased our Power Trac tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Now, if I don't have the correct attachment on, it only takes 15 seconds to change and I don't have to get off the tractor with the Power Trac's quick attach system. If I need to use a powered attachment, then it takes 30 seconds to change because I have to hook up two hoses. (See a 15 second video here of me changing attachments. That's all it takes.)

If I still had a 3pt hitch tractor for field plowing and such, I'd definately purchase a quick hitch system. I can't see operating without one now that I've used one.

The best way to fix that is to have a tractor for each implement. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is certainly true with a 3pt hitch. That makes each attachment cost $15000. With the Power Trac, only one or two (one for the wife) tractors are needed.

I try to get as much done between 3 pt. change outs as possible.
Switching implements uses up very little of my time.
