Does anyone have any experience with Tifermec backhoes. I am planning to buy a new JD 3203 compact tractor and the dealer's after-market backhoes are made by Tifermec. John Deere does not appear to have a backhoe for that tractor. My main concerns are quality and usability.

Never heard of Tifermec - but it looks like you may be right about the lack of a Deere backhoe for the 3203 - there is nothing listed on the Deere attachments page for that model. Funny - I would have thought that everything in the 3000 line would have a backhoe available. You might want to contact Deere directly and see what they say or post a message in the Deere forums about backhoe availability for the 3203.

Poking around at their websites the product looks rugged - maybe a little retro. There seems to be more Italian machinery coming to the US in the last few years - this company may need a stronger English Language marketing program - or maybe we all need to learn more Italian ?

While you are considering backhoes, look into the Rhino models. I recently took delivery of a Rhino 85 (subframe) for a Kubota 5030HSTC. It is a nice setup. The dealer did not know about them prior to my order, and now he considering stocking them.
