Kubota / Lorenz Snowblower Question
I have a Kubota 4330HST w/loaded tires and FEL.
I'm looking at a lightly used Lorenz 734 snowblower. It is rated to 100hp, is 84" wide and 1100lbs. The center of mass is about 2.5 ft from the lift points. Cost is $2500.
I think my tractor can lift it. Kubota specs allow for 1040lb box blade which I figure has about the same center of mass. I think I'm right at the weight and HP limits for the tractor. What do you guys think, to much blower or am I ok? What about the price?
Thanks,
Ed

Re: Kubota / Lorenz Snowblower Question
Ed how big is a 4330? I ask because I own a Lorenz 630 which is 78" wide and weighs 560 lbs. I run it on my Branson 4020 40 hp turbo. Its just the right size for my tractor. I think the 734 is alot of blower but if your Kubota can handle it then go for it. Thats a real good price and these Lorenz units rock.

Re: Kubota / Lorenz Snowblower Question
Thanks for the reply Snoboy,
I bought it. The guy used it to blow out about a 1/4 acre area for 4 years. Its in great shape. My Kubota weights in at 6200 lbs with the loaded tires and the FEL on. The 3 point is rated to 2760 lbs 24 inches back from the attachement points. I think I'm ok.
Our snow is melting fast, I have to get it hooked up and see how it does!
