Backhoe Taylor Way backhoes

   / Taylor Way backhoes #11
I took delivery on my Taylor Ways 766 last Monday. Here's a pic of it still on a pallet and my JD 4210 parked in position to be mounted. I haven't had a chance to try digging with it because my PTO won't engage. I still haven't figured out what the problem is. It appears that the electricial system is working. As much as I hate to, I'll probably have to trailer it to the dealer for repairs.
As for mounting the backhoe, I originally anticpated mounting it on a subframe to prevent any "frame" damage.
At any rate, I'll be ordering the JD subframe from the dealer in Sacramento, CA which would be delivered by June 2nd. Then I'll modify it to accept the backhoe.

BTW I ordered mine from Chesterfield, MI. with a 12" bucket instead of the standard 18" However, the dealer didn't shipped it with the 18" as we agreed to but now refuses to pay for shipping the 18" back to him /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif. I certain am disappointed in his customer service...especially when our agreement was in writing.

Tell him to ship you the 12" and that you'll ship the 18" back once you receive it. Then you'll have both.

Check the seat switch and the neutral safety switch. Those
**** JD (Yanmar) interlocks are always causing problems.

So what did those hoes end up selling for at the auction?

So Seon, how do you like the Taylor-way backhoe? We have a FarmShow this week and I saw the 766 there and it looked very well built. Good square frame, boxed metal boom. The only thing I didn't like was that it was made in
Italy and so the parts are all meters. So finding parts might be hard. Let hear your feedback please.
OBTW they were asking $3750 and no dev $$ for it at the show.

Their web site is down but someone answers the phone at a phone number I found when I called about a month ago. I was asking details about the backhoe and they said it was made in Italy and they import them.
