I have a 4410 with 48 BH. Today I ordered the TNT from John Deere But after I got home I removed BH and I don't think there is enough clearance between the rocker arms and the mounting plate for the Backhoe for the hydraulic cylinders. Does anyone happen to have this setup or know if it will work together. I'm only going off of the photo I do not know the dimensions of the hyd cyl. Thanks

I'm not sure I completely understand your question or concern. It sounds like you are considering leaving the TNT cylinders in place when you have the BH attached...? If that's the case, I don't believe that is possible. It's either use one or the other (the BH or the TNT); you can't have the TNT cylinders in place with the hoe attached. Some more info would be helpful. Thanks. AKfish

After I posted --- I went back and reread your message. The mounting plate for the BH looks like it will interfere with the TNT cylinders --- got it? I guess that's a possibility. However, I would like to think that JD engineers would have expected users to (especially landscapers) need a BH and the TNT setup for power-rakes, etc. I'll bet it's a go....! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif AKfish

Hey AKFISH. I called Craig Taylor today and canceled the order Then went to Alaska hydraulic and talked the them about building one. I don't have much room between the BH mounting plate and the rocker arm in the raised position. AT least they can try different cyl. to get the right size. Thanks Alaskanjdeere

Just to make sure that you're looking in the right place, the tilt cylinder replaces the tractor right side three point arm and the top cylinder replaces the top link. You take those off when you put on the BH and put them back on when using 3pt attachments. There should be no conflict with the backhoe frame. Do you have the rear hydraulic ports? TNT takes two. The ports and the JD TNT are a little salty. I went with CCM for the cylinders and bought a SCV from them....then decided that the hydraulic top link was all I needed. I just can't see needing to tilt side to side that often.

I am away on business right now, so I can't confirm, but I have about 300 hours on my tractor, with an extremely wide variety of attachments, and have not had a conflict with the BH frame yet -- other than it being where I want my knuckles to be when attaching some things. I don't think the static end of a tilt cylinder will be enough bigger to cause a problem. As for JD kit vs. someone else -- my experience with JD is that the factory rig will fit, clear and work perfectly -- if anything maybe a little tight, but it will still all fit and work. 3rd party is a crap shoot.
