I am going to purchase a Land Pride scarifier(SF2566) to work with my rake (LR1572). Has any one ever used the scarifier as a chisel plow for food plot preperation? I have a B7610 with R4 tires.

Hi Judd,

I to am looking for a Land Pride SF2572. If you don't mind my asking, what is the price of the 66 in your area. I'm having a hard time getting any prices out of my local dealers. One, want's me to come in and look around so he can sale me his First Choice Brand. The next one quoted me a price above full retail on a LP tiller. I'm currently searching the LP dealer locater for dealers within 150 miles.
How is your LP rake holding up? I like that you can piggyback the rake or blade behind the scarifier. I plan on using the scarifier to rip through some roots up to 3" to help stop the growth of Russian Olive trees on my land.
I see you do some dog triaiing, right on!!

Bruce-

The price I was quoted for the scarifier was $700. So far the rake has held up well, that's why I am buying the scarifier.

Does anyone know where I can get a scarifier? The dealers now want nearly 800 for one. I am trying to locate one a bit less expensive.

I just saw one of these Land Pride SF2566 Scarifiers hooked up to a tractor.....and it had a 6.5' disc attached behind it. Looked like a great set up for food plotters. Scarify and disc/harrow at the same time!

But when looking at the Landpride site....they do not say it's capable of use with a disc (only rake and blade). Anyone tried this?
