Specifically, the small square hay bale handling I'm interested in is removing small square bales from a flatbed delivery truck and stacking them in a barn that is accessible with a large frame CUT and its higher capacity FEL. This application is for a horse operation.

A search on handling small square hay bales here on TBN lead me to a couple year old post that mentioned the Hay Buddy bale squeeze.

The following image link to the manufacture's website is an annimated GIF. In theory, you will see a little slide show of the Hay Buddy in action. At least that is what I saw when I previewed this message. Note that it takes a little while for the second image to appear, so be patient. There are four images in total.

The literature on it says it will handle "2 to 12 bales of hay". They show it on both a skid steer loader as well as a regular tractor loader. From what I see on the Hay Buddy website, it looks like it might be just the ticket for what I have in mind.

Does anyone have any experience with the Hay Buddy?

Does anyone have any alternative suggestions for transfering small square hay bales delivered on a flat bed into a barn assuming there is room to manuver a large frame CUT and FEL?
