My New Holland dealer set me up with a BH80-X. What an awsome machine. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gifI had it setup with the PTO pump and a sub-frame and an 18 inch bucket. There is plenty of digging power I only have to run the tractor rpm's at 1500 to dig in my shale pit. I never ran a backhoe before but after 6 hours seat time I've got it figured out.( very user friendly). I took some pictures of the backhoe and sub-frame for any interested in the hookup to a TC-35 New Holland.

Not only that, but that handsome guy even attracted one of the local gals...as shown in the third pic! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Seein' how that backhoe is standin' up, probably won't be long 'till there are little subcuts runnin' around! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Well, the handsome tractor attracted the other one. You've got to excuse these guys here. They definitely need to get out more! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hoo-wee!!

That is one sweet rig!

How many hours on it now?
How deep have you dug?

Just Curious, ... I am looking @ the same 'hoe, local Dealer quoted $6750 installed, w/subframe, no pump... Is that pretty good?

I had to sink my DX40 up to the muffler in a muddy pond, then I got my F150 stuck trying to pull out the DX, in order to convince my wife I needed a 'hoe, she's almost convinced....

Again, VERY NICE,

Ken

Ken-----The BH80-X backhoe---Subframe---Larger 18 inch bucket---PTO pump setup and labor and tax cost me $7628. The price you were quoted sounds good. I could have saved some money on the PTO pump assembly but I run synthetic amsoil in my tractor,so I either shell out big bucks for another 5 gallon pail of amsoil or go with a PTO pump setup. I was concerned about blowing a hydraulic line and blowing high dollar amsoil all over so I went with an independent system. So far I've only dug down about 3 feet. I spent most of Saturday digging in the shale pit away from anything I could accidently destroy until I get the feel of it.
