Yes, even though it's not technically legal. I fabricated mine with a piece of 1/4" plate steel, a piece of 5/8" ID black pipe and (4) 1/2" grade 8 bolts. Before removing the rops from the tractor, I marked the heighth for my cuts and marked a coupl of spots for front and back on both halves. After removing, I cut the rops in half, then cut a piece of plate to fit over the open ends which were welded in place. I then used some more plate to attach to either side of the bottom rops (rops width x 2 = 4"x4" for mine). Rear view, should resemble a U shape with the plate being higher than the bottom post. On the top rear section, I welded on the piece of black pipe for my hinge.
