last year i bought a kk 4 ft tiller: i thought i would use it on my 20 hp kubota: but i just didn't want to have to cut the drive shaft: plus i would have to remove the belly mower, so instead i use it on the 50 hp: which leaves tire tracks on both sides: i am "considering" selling it for $850 and buying a new 6ft tiller: going into tsc today to check prices of new tillers:
hate to get skinned to bad..

I am in the market for one as well. How much does TSC want for a 6' model?

I paid $1495 for my KK and love it. I broke my soil ahead of time with a two-bottom plow and the tiller didn't even load my 45hp tractor as it tilled as deep as I could go. It was so nice to look at a whole field with not a single tire track. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You will be very pleased with the 6' KK. I bought one this year at TSC for 1475.00 and have used it on several gardens. Great tiller.

The KK tillers have 3pt pins similar to shredders where woods, rhino and others have the catch pin style reinforced on both sides. I bought a 5ft KK tiller for this Texas black soil and after 8 hours in low gear both pins were bent forward.

not positive i will go with a KK this time, but price will make a difference, i'm hoping i can find a good strong tiller for less than the KK.

It seems strange that the pins are bent forward. The tiller pushes the tractor forward so the pins should be bent back. Could you be going to fast. I've beat the crap out of my 60" KK and haven't even bent a tine.

The pins were bent forward because although the tiller tries to push the tractor forward, it also tries to rotate the tiller back (think wheelie). I have a 4' tiller behind my B7200 and hit a buried rock that put enough driveline shock in to rip the top link apart.

Better set your slip clutch so it works properly, because that should not happen.
If the slip clutch is set up right it will slip when you hit a solid object (like the buried rock) and protect your tiller and tractor.
