Thinking about a 42" or 48" rotary cutter for my JD 2210. Would like some feedback on your experiences including weight issues, 3-point hitch issues etc. Considering the JD LX4, Woods RCC42 or Woods Brushbull 48 or any others.

JD 2210, 49" CX200 FEL, 54" MMM, 47" Snowblower, 54" Front Blade, IMatch.

I've never had issues with the weight of a cutter. The only 3ph issues I've had is one with the mower end of the 3ph and the side mount pins. I have a real problem with brush mowing and using the kind of pins that you slide the 3ph arms over and then latch a lynch pin through. I highly suggest a captive pin style to pevent twisting up the mower 3ph structure.

Go with the 48, you'll be glad you have the extra 6 in. and if you get in heavy tough grass, you can always take less than a full swath.

No problem with the LX4 on my 4010, which has a bunch less hp than a 2210. Weight of it hanging back there has never been a problem with a FEL. Don't know how it would be without the FEL. The 2210 and 4010 are almost identical in weight.

The 4010 will run through hood high grass with the LX4 without bogging. Only thing that kinda bogs it a bit is when the blade digs full into soft sand.
