needing something to pull behind my cub 3200 to scratch the gound then cover seed. has anyone tried one of the $350 units off ebay. says they weigh about 135 lbs. look well built, but i have never owned one. looking for some opinions from those with some experience with them. thanks.

Good luck! I've got a 6x6 and 6x8 heavy chain drag like TSC sells... the 6x8 will load down a 17pto hp tractor ( yanmar 1700 ). Weight is the issue.. tires spinning/traction. My 2800# ford NAA didn't even notice the drag.. yet the yanmar 1700 couldn't make a sharp turn with the drag on due to low/no traction..

Any drag you can pull with a lawnmower is going to be wee...(small that is.. )

I've got a harrow from Loyal (T.R. Metalcrafters, Inc.) that I ordered thru Tractor Supply Co. It is 4' by 6' and I used to pull it with a 13 HP lawn mower. (Just not very fast!) It worked just fine and was about $200 several years ago.

We bought a 6w x 4l one from these guys a while back Rakes4All and even my Craftsman GT3000 will pull with no problems.
