CCM GEAR DRIVE TILLERS

So, why would I want to buy a tiller from CCM? Anyone who has one and has used a competitor’s model? Any comments? The prices look good (shipping not included). The big question for me is repairs. How do you get it serviced? I live in Wisconsin, and they are in TN. So if I need a tine or bearing, I cannot drive over to TSC or my local dealer.

Am I worrying about something that does not matter? I really like the CCM tillers.

In addition to asking here, why not just call Mark Carter monday and ask him as well? Everything I've read here on TBN has been very positive.
I was strongly considering buying a wider tiller from them just recently but, decided it was more of a want than a need right now. I think I'll put that money in a couple of new culverts and 25 tons of gravel instead. We've been having a little rain here in NH /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif.

Excellent idea. I too have read the same glowing reports about CCM tillers.

Bob it can't hurt to check Out TSC and look at the gear drive KK tillers. I believe most of them come equipped with a slip clutch and parts are easy to get if and when you'll need them. Unless you're going into the business of tilling you'll only be using it a couple of times a year and it will last years to come.

I will order in the next 2 weeks. But, I said that 2 weeks ago /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Nothing is tougher than coming to TBN, thinking I know a lot and then learning that I know nothing. everyone here has made my decision a better one. At least I am going to buy with some idea of what I am doing. I now sit on a tractor and can ask the right questions and look at the details that I would have never thought of before.
