This is what you need for the front blade and snow blower.

Nice pic Woodstock! I thought I'd be smart and have the quickhitch plate cut back 1/2" to allow room for the grill guard plate but Kubota made the guard arms come in at the bottom so they must really not want it on with the quick hitch. I'd thought about mounting extra lights for blowing snow on the top of it. How do the tractor lights work for nightime snowblowing?

Thanks,
Michael

I have a front mount blower on my B7500; the front lights for that worked fine last year (most of my snowblowing is in the dark). Don't know how much different the B7500 lights are compared to the BX2200; probably close.

I had the dealer install a floodlight on my folding ROPS because I thought the front lights would not be sufficient. However, I never put the ROPS up, so I use the floodlight as a rear light, which works out great because there aren't any rear lights on the tractor.

snowman,

Thanks. We were looking at the 7500 and BX and one of the differences (abet cosmetic) was the headlights. My wife liked the molded style of the BX over the round lamps of the 7500. I preferred whichever were brighter /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif. I also end up snowblowing in the dark so the rear mount light suggestion is excellent.

Thanks,
Michael

Woodstock,

I was looking at the snowblower last night and thinking about the lights. On the top of the auger shroud to the right of the chute as you are facing the tractor from the front, are two bolts in the middle for the center support. I was wondering if a flood mounted there would work for seeing in front of the blowing snow. It is off a bit from the chute so I don't think it would be in the way and thought it would light up where the auger is going. Any thoughts?

Michael

I am wonder the same thing. Also was considering a light mounted on the rotating shut would light the area where your throwing the snow which I think is just as important.
