I had posted questions concerning a rear dirt scoop and appreciate the prompt replies. In searching around I came across a New Holland listing for a dirt scoop.
I called a large New Holland dealer and they had a Model 706 on the lot. They emailed a picture and I could see it had some interesting features. The trip lever used compound leverage to release the bucket. Anyway I was inerested and took a road trip to look at it. It had been setting on the lot for a while and looked it. I talked them down to 400.00 and took it home.
How it works, wonderful. Never have I bought an implement that looked a little complicated that was not an engineering nightmare. NOt this one!!!!!! The release is as smooth as butter. The Bucket is 10 cubic feet and is tapered. Works great, It is not a FEL but the best I can do for the short term. THe NH MOdel 706 is the best design I have seen in my long search for the dirt scoop!
Thanks
