Bird: Old? What are you talking about? Sixty-five is just a good start!! For pete's sake, why do you suppose I bought a NEW John Deere? My mother turns 99 on February 13th and she told me recently that she finds it hard to believe that she might be old. She said that "I look in the mirror and wonder who that old woman is." By the way, as a young girl she rode a horse to a rural school in South Dakota and remembers how exciting it was to go to the small airstrip in Renner, South Dakota, to see Lindbergh when he was making his triumphant tour of the country after returning from Paris. Now maybe that's old--maybe.
