You would think that somewhere in the greater Houston area there would be a company that rents 3PH tillers. If there is, I can't find them. Anyone know of such a place, preferably on the south side of Houston as I am 45 miles south of Houston.

I need it for a JD 4110 (about 20HP?). Probably 48"-53" or so.

Thanks,
Ira

Nobody rents 3pt stuff out here either. Well, I take that back. They will, but you have to rent thier tractor too.

Now skidsteer attchments are a different story. Rental of those attachments is not a problem.

I'm not from your area, but, I checked on this last weekend at a rental place. They didn't think it would work because the PTO shaft length is precut to match the Kubota tractors they also rent. I suppose one could supply their own PTO shaft. I've read enough post on here to be very concern that the length is correct or major damage could happen when it's in the raised position.

I've encountered the same thing here in Michigan.
They're more than glad to rent the tiller, but you have to rent the tractor too.
I was told that they used to do this, but the customer couldn't get the tiller adjusted right.
