I recently purchased a Leinbach post hole digger. The documentation recommends stabilizer bars? Pardon my ignorance, but what are they referring to? I think they are talking for the top link?

Thanks.....

Bar that you can attach to the gearbox housing that will help you position the auger from tractor seet or from ground>LIABILITY increased so is no longer manufactured with this option.

Or it could refer to stabilizer bar/chain/block used to stabilize your HYD lift arms.;)

For heavier or bulkier implements, stabilizer bars are recommended. They are 2 adjustable metal bars that you put on your lift arms to increase rigidity. I use them with the hedge trimmer on my JD 3520. They are quite efficient.

The 5 foot cutter bar does a quick job, but the beast is quite difficult to handle, especially when the ground is not perfectly flat, which is the case most of the time.
