Re: What Implements rate the highest

Sorry about the FEL. I just bought my tractor so I am still using sales brochure language.

Register and join this group and then topics will remember what you have read,e-mail responses to your post directly to you, etc.

Guess I didn't read the brochure, but thank goodness I bought one, otherwise there would still be over 100 yards of mulch, gravel, and roadbase still setting there waiting on my wife to spread it with a wheel barrow and shovel. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Thanks for all of the input! I am very limited by costs, and it sounds like you all are saying I can turn this field into a lawn with a tiller and a landscaping box. I plan to buy the tiller since I will be having a garden every year. Thanks again!

...and a piece of pipe to drag to get as level as possible, and a piece of chainlink fence to drag to cover the seed. The box may not be needed immediately if the tiller and drag get it level enough to have a lawn.

p.s. be sure the chain you use with a drag is tied to the 3 point links and absolutely cannot be caught in a rear tire (oops...)when you are turning, otherwise buy a cheap wire harrow.

Re: First time shopper tips may help>> click here

Your Tips site is really nice. There is a lot of good information out there. Even though I have already bought, I found alot of the information helpful. Somebody as dumb as I was 3 months ago will find it invaluable. That is an excellent service you provide.
