had a Newholland TZ24D, Just replaced with a Kabota B2601, Loader and Mower,
I work with a 5 foot finish mower Cutting about 5 acres of field, A few rocks But mostly level ground. This mower has 4 gauge wheels that swivel set in forks and maybe a 6 or 7-inch wheel, TROUBLE is I keep loosing the beads. Tire comes half way off the rim. We have added tubes. But it still happens. The gauge tire that is in the path of the discharge shoot (Rear) seems the most likely to fail. Any idea on cause or Solution would be appreciated. I’m thinking about solid tires but the farm owner thinks that If the tires don’t fail, Something else will, Like the swivel, wheel etc.

We had our mower deck caster wheels foamed for about 10 bucks each. Guaranteed no more flats. Try it, you'll like it. ;)

Insufficient air pressure? I'd have to go outside in the rain with a flashlight to confirm, but I'm pretty sure the 13x3.5x6" tires on my FirstChoice finish mower specify at least 40psi. Another mistake I've seen is using an incorrect replacement size. Check your mower parts manual to verify your mower is still wearing OE-sized tires.

High tire pressure is important ...slime if tire tends to lose pressure. Make sure you have greased the shafts and the casters turn freely ...and, backing up with the mower down is a no-no.

I also foam filled the tires on my King Kutter mower. I was always replacing tubes. The tires were stiff enough that I never noticed that they were flat until the tube was shot. Looking at my tubes and tires I found no sign of anything to make them go flat. After foam all I do now is mow. big dan

You could put on solid wheels. I opened up my agri-supply catalog and found that they are not cheap though.... $30 apiece for a wheel and $16 for the hubs if you would need them...

I run a 72" Landpride with 10"x3.5"x4" 4PR. tires. The tire pressure is kept at 50PSI.This is my 5th. year with this mower, and the first year that I had to replace a tire. Last year I picked up a piece of metal in it,and started to give me trouble,so I replaced it. I mow about 4 acres weekly.
