I have a Bush Hog 72" rear discharge finish mower with about 60 hours on it. The front solid tire caster wheel bearing is shot. It is a pipe sleeve with a pressed bushing one each side of the wheel hub and bolted with a long 1/2" bolt to the caster yoke. The strange thing is only the front two wheels are bad and only one side of the wheel bushing is badly worn. It almost looks to me as if the wrong bushings where installed one one side to start with. How could only one side of the caster be worn? I will be at the dealers in the am to see what they think. Any body got any ideas?

You have either a bearing failing or something is out of alignment. Belt should last years.

Agreed...
Check bearings, tension, and alignment...
I've replaced 1 belt in 20 years of using a RFM...
As far as the wheels and bearings, that is one item you need to grease every time...
I grease my wheel bearings and tension spring shafts on my Woods each time that I mow...
I grease the bearings in the deck and universals every 2 or 3 times...
I think that the owners manual specifies every 25 hours on the bearings in the deck...
I know that I over grease...
Never had a bearing failure in 20 years...
