Looks like i will be picking up my JD 4720 and wanted a front mount blower, JD doesnt make one for the 4000 series and I am looking at aftermarket. I saw a massive 78 in blower. What are thoughts, they were asking around $6500

I've heard good things about them, but have no practical experience. I think there's a video of it in action on the website.

I will be using a plow this coming season on the front quick-attach and a blower on the back for the big falls and any clean-up or snow removal. It seems like it'll be a great combination. The small stuff will work well with the plow and I can move back the piles now and again with the blower.

I always thought that the front-mount concept would be great, just mean to store in the off-season. I never used one but never heard anything bad about them.

Erskine makes a high-quality product. I used to sell the skid-steer Erskine snow blowers and they were fantastic.

Erskine blowers have a reputation of being good machines. My issue with their design is that they run off the rear pto. I have my sitrex spreader on my rear for ice management With the kubota snowblower up front.
