I am planning on buying a NH TC34 tractor. One of the big chores for it is going to be snow removal from my driveway, which is 1200 feet and gravel. I wanted to know if anyone has had good experience with a quick attach FEL mounted snow plow and where to find one.

I'm not too hip on the frame mounted plow NH offers. I t would require removing the FEL to use. I want to drop the QA bucket and put on a plow. It's OK if I have to move it left/right manually and lock it with a pin.

Thanks, Greg

I don't have any direct knowledge, but while looking at a link from another post, I found this snow plow which will mount on a loader.

Snow Plows

Hope this is some help.

After one year, I have had very good luck with a FEL QA 8' plow on a TC48. I had the plow mounted directly on the front of an earlier tractor for ten years and loved it....got the new tractor, thought about making a front frame, ran out of time and converted an old fork carriage into a plow attachment. Also added feet to it. I was concerned about damage to the FEL arms because I plow around 2,000 feet of road/driveway. We had a light winter last winter but it seemed to do very well. Now I just need to add the remote hydraulics to the FEL so I can get back to where I was with the old setup.

I am not real familiar with the new software so we'll see if the post works!

I must have missed your original thread...thanks for the link. I am curious about the hydraulic block on the QA plate. Is that primarily to keep the hosing tidy around the plow or does it have another function like flow restriction?
thanks

I use a Curtis 7 foot blade on my Kubota 5030 with 853 QA FEL. I also installed the W.R. Long electric(solenoid)/hydraulic system for power angle function. This give left and right angle added to the normal lift and curl actions.

It is on and off in 2 minutes: detach bucket, drive to plow, hook in and throw levers, then plug in 2 hoses and go to work.

What I did was mount a Meyers 2 meter in the bucket of my 2910. Simpley fabed up a lower cradel and bolted it in. simple, quick, and works. Would I like to add hydro....yes, but that takes money...$50 for the plow, $5 for scrap steel...done.

My next job is to mount the meyers on the quick tach for the blower. The only problem I ever had was deep snow can push the tracto sideways easier due to the plow being so far out. But you can stack so high with the plow in the bucket...quagmire I tell you!
